Job Description

• Review of treatment plans and calculation of settings on the treatment machine for treatment delivery (20%)
• Coordination between the Radiation Oncologists and Radiation Therapists towards delivering accurate treatment and treatment design (20%)
• Perform routine weekly quality assurance of patient treatment documentation (20%)
• Perform annual state required inspections (15%)
• Perform quality performance inspection on a routine basis as well as machine radiation calibration (15%)
• Participate in brachytherapy treatments in terms of treatment planning and treatment design and implementation (10%)

Job Requirements

Master's in physics or medical physics; American Board of Radiology Certified or eligible; 2 years clinical experience as a medical physicist.
