Dr. Robert Liebross earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors in biochemistry from Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH in 1991. At Dartmouth he was designated a Presidential Scholar. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from New York University School of Medicine in New York in 1995.

Dr. Liebross began his post graduate training as an Intern at North shore University Hospital/Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York during the years 1995-1996. He then went on to do his Residency in Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center from 1996-2000. While at M.D. Anderson he was presented with the Gilbert H. Fletcher Society award.

After completing his training, he moved to central Indiana in 2000 and joined the group, which is now the Cancer Care Group. He cares for patients at the group's St. Vincent (Indianapolis) and the Witham/St. Vincent Cancer Institute (Lebanon) locations.

Dr. Liebross serves on the St. Vincent Institutional Review Board and the Oncology Scientific Review Committee.

Robert Liebross, MD is married and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and fishing. Watching his son play hockey and baseball and daughter do gymnastics brings him joy.
